This is my favorite sewing project I have ever done! In celebration of Mardi Gras (and my fav holiday Halloween) I wanted to make a cool fairy costume that was all organic, made from scrap fabric, cheap and had the flare of the New Olreans french Quarter! (My home town…) It took all day to make it and had alot of extra pieces : the body, skirt, wrist bands, neck piece and the faux lace up boots! I did my make-up with a beet and olive oil. xoxo
