  2. awesome video!!! I …
awesome video!!! I wanna go into dermatology after graduating from med school, and I have been nagging everyone about using sunscreen. And all I hear is “but I want a nice dark tan” and “come on, I´m not gonna use suncreen unless I´m laying out in the sun”
I also use Retin-A to fade my hyerpigmentation and as an anti-aging product. My skin tolerates is very well and it´s been amazing for me. If we had Sephora in my country I would totally buy that sunscreen kit!

  3. You have 27….. …
You have 27…..But to be honest with you, you need a lot of product to get that 27, and most people don’t use that much foundation on their faces. So really, you have 15. also, 27 is a weird number for a sun protection Factor.

  4. Hi vintageortacky,

    Hi vintageortacky,
I’ve been wondering for a while now, if I have a moisturizer that has SPF 15 and foundation with SPF 27 does it mean that I have SPF 42 on my face? Or is it just SPF 27? Please let me know if you have any any clue.

I’ve never tried any of the aveeno lotions. BUT the one I think I mentioned in an annotation, Neutrogena Ultra dry touch with helioplex is AMAZING!

  8. I’m sorry to hear …
I’m sorry to hear about your burns! My skin hurt just reading that. I’m glad your a sunblock freak now! It makes me so sad the people who still tan tho. Not only are you aging your skin prematurely, and who wants that, but you’re putting yourself at greater risk for skin cancer….c’mon people!

I completely agree. 3 years ago i was at a beach in england all day long, england is not known for “sun” therefore i wore NO sunscreen and a few hours later i had 2nd degree burns all over my arms, chest & shoulders. it blistered and scabbed over and i was stuck in the house for 3 weeks, not able to wear clothes ,i couldn’t sleep or even move my arms to brush my hair! it was horrible and ever since that i have also been a sunblock freak!!!

  10. Yes, it is damaging …
Yes, it is damaging. especially if you burn super easy. Not only are you putting your self at risk for sun cancer, you’re aging your skin prematurely. Even with sun protection on, you’ll still get a little color. there are SO many self-tanners and bronzers out there, don’t ruin your skin. please do no “lay out” or tan.

  11. Ok I have a …
Ok I have a question kind of. I’m really fair and I burn super easy. I wear sunscreen, not year round but most of the year. I do like to catch some colour in the summer from the sun. How is the right way to do it. Like gradually only laying out for small amounts of time? I just want to know if its really damaging to my skin for me to tan outside at all?
