ive struggled wiht skin care for many years now, and what ive learned is the best "natural" skin treament you can give for your skin is to let it be and heal naturally, medication is good from time to time but dont waste your time on it for too long, because if you use them too much your skin will either become immune or "hooked" to the point where if you get off the medication itll go back to bieng the same thing….maybe worse
I was wondering which stores sell natural AND ORGANIC hair , skin and body care products without all the harmful chemicals? Please answer only if you use organic products yourself, you are very knowledgeable about natural and organic products or if you had any personal experience.
Whole Foods is amazing. They have great natural brands such as aubrey organics, jason naturals, kinky-curly, burts bees and avalon organics. Central market and vitamin shoppe also have some natural products as well. I really recommen aubrey organics honeysuckle rose conditioner. I use it and Im in love. Hope this helps
My body is very dry. I try to put lotion on whenever i can, but i HATE how it feels on my skin. I use a body wash now but my skin still feels very dry.
I have dry patches all over my arms, chest, and stomach.
Whats a good deep moisturizing body wash?? Please only people who have actually used it..thanks!!
Aveeno products are brilliant for dry skin.My son had dry itchy skin so I bought Aveeno body wash (brilliant) and an aveeno body lotion (the one that contains menthol). The trick is as soon as you come out of the shower, pat your skin dry (do not rub) and apply the body lotion immediately. You will notice a difference almost immediately.I was at my wits end with my son’s dry skin,it was so itchy because of the dryness and I tried most creams and washes on the market.Aveeno worked and he still uses it as he said it makes his skin feel lovely.
Do organic and ‘earth friendly’ baby products really make a difference?
No. I’d say that using organic products is probably the only way to ensure that your baby isn’t coming into contact with the harmful chemicals that are included in some big-brand products.
If you read the small print on the back of some baby products, you’ll see that they can contain nasty chemicals like butylparaben, ethylparaben and methylparaben (which can cause allergic reactions); Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (a corrosive cleaning agent); and Lauramide DEA, which has been connected to skin allergies, scalp itching and dermatitis.
The Earth Friendly Baby range is good - I don’t know if you’re already using it.
