NOTHING will prevent them, no matter how much cream you use!! You either have elasticity in your skin or you dont. Every Doc or midwife i asked told me this and i have read it in numerous books. The head of the maternity at my hospital who has been a doc for 30 years said, women who waste all their money on this cream and say it works cause they dont have stretch marks wouldnt have got them anyway!!!!

If it makes you feel better by putting it on, then there is no harm, it may help your skin drying out, but thats about it, i asked my doc cause i was putting palmers cocoa butter on myself 3 times a day, and i am smothered in stretch marks!!!!
